Good Luck, MAESTRI!
The Supervisory Board of the Doctoral Network (DN) MAESTRI had its Kick-off Meeting on the 4th of March 2024 in Regensburg. It was hosted by the Network Coordinator; Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule (OTH) Regensburg. 7 Beneficiaries (OTH Regensburg, Jožef Stefan Institute (JSI), Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel (CAU), University of Ljubljana (UL), University of Southern Denmark (SDU), University of Vienna (UNIVIE), Wegard GmbH (WEG) and 1 Associated Partner (Bayerische Forschungsallianz GmbH, BayFOR) were present in person. 2 Beneficiaries (Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (SSSA), Prensilia s.r.l. (PRE)) and 2 Associated Partners (University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) and Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School(IPS)) have joined the meeting online. We listened to the online address of the Project Officer, Ms. Giulia Moro of the European Research Executive Agency (REA) and had the opportunity to pose our questions to her. The program of this meeting was long and very intense, but otherwise very fruitful. The focus of our discussion was on the training program, basis of exploitation and refinement of recruitment strategy. It was also a unique possibility to know each other better in person. We have a 4-year long path before us, and we are determined to reach all the goals stated in the Description of Action of our Doctoral Network.
