On Saturday, March 29th, Lucija Drempetić from the Materials Synthesis Department at the Jožef Stefan Institute (JSI) in Ljubljana participated in the 33rd Jožef Stefan Days. During the event, she had the opportunity to present the exciting potential of magnetoactive elastomers—smart materials that are advancing the field of soft robotics.
Throughout the event, Lucija engaged with visitors, discussing real-world applications of these materials, and demonstrating their ability to respond to magnetic fields. The enthusiasm and curiosity of attendees reinforced the importance of innovation and collaboration, key pillars of the MAESTRI project, which is at the forefront of exploring these cutting-edge technologies.
The event was a great success, highlighting the significance of continuous research and collaboration in shaping the future of materials science.
